Organizing the competition

The call for applications began in June, and the initial selection of ten candidates was made on July 18 by a panel that combines research, appeal, and outreach. It was aimed at all PhD students working in Orange from 2e and 3e Years. To apply, they had to complete a scientific report and make a two-minute video where they introduce themselves and explain their thesis problem. Once selected, during the month of September, candidates will benefit from the full support of public speaking, particularly training in public speaking, rhetoric, but also for the organization and dissemination of written messages.

For PhD students, the benefits of this support will be multiple and will enhance their work. In addition, they will receive advice on “behaving” and getting used to using social networks. So they will be ready for the final stadium battle It was organized on October 19 as part of the Research and Innovation Exhibition, the final of which will take place in front of the public and a jury made up of academics, journalists and collaborators, which will be chaired by Jean Bulot, Director of Research at Orange.

Benefits for researchers but also for Orange
