All year round, come and celebrate Claudewald, grandson of Clovis and founding father of Saint Cloud on the occasion of the 1,500th anniversary of his birth in 522. Relive our shared history through many events, from September 2022 to June 2023.
After the summer, the city will be happy to meet you and share with you the various events scheduled for the start of the school year!
- From Clodoald to Saint-Cloud, 1500 years of history
The city would like to honor Claudewald, grandson of Clovis born in 522, the prince who became a monk, then a priest, who gave his name to our city! Several events and events will be presented from September to May in partnership with the Parish of Saint-Cloud.
- Saturday, September 3rd, go back in time with an aperitif in Molière’s time!
City and district delegates invite you from 7pm for a big aperitif at the start of the school year in the Garden of Tourneroches! Live one evening in the time of Molière, on the occasion of the four hundredth anniversary of his birth. Take part in the costume ball and bring a picnic with you for a lively evening! Beautiful surprises await you: skits of 3 Clouds, the Comédie Française exhibition, etc. Come very much!
- Saturday 10 September a place in the associations forum!
As every year, back to school is synonymous with the Forum of Societies at Saint-Cloud Racecourse! From 2 pm to 6 pm, come and learn about Claudines cultural, sports and solidarity associations, as well as city services to prepare your year in the best possible way! Also the opportunity to become a volunteer! An edition marked under the 1500 year mark of Clodoald with activities the media library offers for the youngest of them such as stories and music about the Middle Ages.

Participate in parenting workshops at Le Carré and meet students for childcare or babysitting.
- Saturday 24th September: Aquathlon!
A sports course in the pool and in the Tourneroches park is offered to everyone from 6 years old. Swimming, Running, Workshop.
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September at 3pm and 5pm.
3 Clouds invites you on a theatrical and musical outing to discover the main events in the history of France that took place in Saint-Cloud. In this ninth edition, actors and musicians invite you to celebrate the birth of Molière, 400 years ago and the birth of Claudewald, Clovis’ grandson, 1,500 years ago.

At the Lord’s Banquet, a medieval music and dance workshop With Sarah Raya and Julian Colon
As part of the event: Saint-Cloudwald: 1500 years of historyCome and discover the life of a medieval castle. Julian Colon will introduce medieval instruments while Sarah Rea will teach you some typical dance steps of the time: Carol and Trish.

The Holy Door was solemnly opened at the entrance to the church by the bishop.
